Nuit Blanche Toronto 2025: Road Closures and Overnight TTC Service Set for Oct. 4–5

More than 85 installations explore “Translating the City” across downtown, North York and Etobicoke.

Overview

  • Festival hours run from 7 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday with works spread across the City Hall–Chinatown corridor, Mel Lastman Square in North York, and Humber College Lakeshore in Etobicoke.
  • Toronto police say key closures include Dundas Street West between Spadina and University, Chestnut and Armoury streets downtown, Yonge Street by Mel Lastman Square, and Colonel Samuel Smith Park Drive, with all roads expected to reopen by 12 p.m. Sunday.
  • The TTC will run Lines 1, 2 and 4 every 15 minutes from 1:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Sunday to support overnight travel.
  • Extra buses are slated for 100 Flemingdon Park to reach Aga Khan Museum exhibits, the 944 Kipling South Express will operate overnight, and the Blue Night Network adds service near Islington Station, alongside diversions on 97/320 Yonge and 505/305 Dundas during event hours.
  • Unrelated Gardiner Expressway lane and ramp restrictions remain in effect between Dufferin and Strachan and from Park Lawn to Grand, which may add to weekend traffic delays.
