Overview

• Police say a 12-wheel dumper tried to overtake a tractor and veered left into the bike between Ghasera and Salamba on the Delhi–Alwar highway on Friday morning.
• The deceased were identified as Zaida Khatoon, 48, and her daughter Jasmin, 17, both from Ghasera village in Nuh.
• The injured rider, Mohammad Tahir Hussain, 34, suffered fractures and is being treated at Nalhar Medical College and Hospital.
• CCTV footage recorded the collision, and the truck driver fled the scene before officers arrived.
• Sadar Nuh police lodged a case under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections 106 (causing death by negligence) and 281 (rash driving) against an unidentified driver.
