Overview

• A Murphy SR3500 Moose single-engine plane crashed Tuesday evening on a steep slope north of the Irely Lake Trailhead in Olympic National Park’s Quinault area.
• Park rangers and Naval Air Station Whidbey Island Search and Rescue personnel located the site and coordinated an aerial evacuation.
