Corrections aim to stabilize scoring before the April 20 results.

Overview

  • NTA, which released provisional keys on Saturday, posted updated Session 2 answer keys on Sunday after widespread complaints about the April 5 Shift 2 Chemistry key.
  • Hindustan Times reported the agency corrected errors in 19 Chemistry questions caused by a technical mismatch between question IDs and the listed correct option IDs.
  • The objection window remains open on jeemain.nta.nic.in through 11:50 pm on April 13, with a non‑refundable fee of Rs 200 per challenged question.
  • Candidates can view their response sheets and file challenges through the portal, and accepted challenges will change the final key without individual notifications to candidates.
  • Session 2 ran April 2–8 for about 11.23 lakh candidates across 566 centres in 304 Indian cities and 14 abroad, and the final answer key and results are expected by April 20.
