Overview
- The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode for 180 minutes in English on January 25, 2026.
- The paper features five sections of 20 questions each, totaling 100 questions and 400 marks with four marks for a correct answer, one mark deducted for a wrong answer, and no marks for unattempted items.
- Results will reflect revised answer keys after challenges, dropped questions will earn full marks for all candidates, and tie-breaks will list older candidates first with the same merit rank shared.
- Exam city intimation will be posted on cmat.nta.nic.in, and admit cards will be released there a few days before the test for candidates who completed registration.
- Participating institutions will set their own cut-offs and conduct separate selection processes such as GD and PI using CMAT scores.
