Overview
- Candidates in West Bengal assigned to January 23 will receive an alternative date within the advertised Session 1 window, the NTA announced on X.
- Session 1 is scheduled for January 21, 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, with Paper 1 in two shifts on the first four days and Paper 2 in a single morning shift on the last day.
- Admit cards are expected online 3–4 days before the exams at jeemain.nta.nic.in, and candidates must download and carry a printed copy as cards will not be sent by post.
- Candidates must appear only on the date and shift stated on their admit card; non-core errors such as name, photo, DOB, category or PwD can be raised via the correction window or NTA helpdesk, but centre, date and shift are generally not changeable.
- NTA and government officials say facial biometric checks during exams and live photography at the application stage are set to begin with this session to strengthen security.
