NTA Releases UGC NET Admit Cards, Sets Jan 1 Cutoff to Challenge CSIR NET Answer Key

Objections to the CSIR provisional answer key close at 11 pm on January 1 with a Rs 200 fee per question.

Overview

  • Admit cards for all remaining UGC NET December 2025 test days are live on ugcnet.nta.nic.in, and candidates must print the hall ticket and carry a valid photo ID.
  • The UGC NET is being held in computer-based mode across 85 subjects on December 31 and January 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7, with two shifts per day from January 2 (9 am–12 pm and 3 pm–6 pm).
  • Entry closes at 8:30 am for the morning shift and 2:00 pm for the afternoon shift, with mandatory security, document verification and biometric attendance and no early exit from the three-hour session.
  • Prohibited items include phones, smart watches, calculators, bags, metallic jewellery and written material, while a simple pen, a transparent water bottle and essential medicines with a prescription are allowed.
  • For the December 18 CSIR-UGC NET, provisional answer keys, question papers and recorded responses are available at csirnet.nta.nic.in, with challenges open until 11 pm on January 1 for Rs 200 per question before expert review, final keys and results for 2,12,552 candidates.
