NTA Releases JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Exam City Slips After Revising Window to Jan 21–29

Candidates can log in at jeemain.nta.nic.in to view their allotted city, with admit cards to be issued a few days before the test.

Overview

  • The city intimation slip is available on jeemain.nta.nic.in and can be accessed using the JEE Main application number with password or date of birth and the security code.
  • This document only indicates the exam city and is not valid for entry; admit cards with centre address, shift and reporting time will be released closer to the exam.
  • NTA has revised the Session 1 schedule to January 21–29, 2026, with two daily shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2 scheduled on January 29 as per updated timetables.
  • Session 1 result publication is expected on February 12, 2026, according to the NTA’s stated timeline.
  • NTA advises using only jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in for updates and provides help via 011-40759000 and jeemain@nta.ac.in, noting it may merge cities or allot different cities while considering PwD candidates’ convenience.
