Overview
- Session 1 applications will open in October 2025 on jeemain.nta.ac.in, with Session 2 registrations starting in the last week of January 2026 and exact launch dates yet to be announced.
- The exam will be held in computer-based mode across two sessions, retaining Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech and Paper 2 for B.Arch/B.Planning.
- Key identity details—name, date of birth, gender, photograph and address—will be fetched from UIDAI via Aadhaar, while parent or guardian names must be entered manually.
- Applicants will be able to correct name mismatches between Aadhaar and Class 10 certificates within the online application form.
- NTA is working to increase the number of exam cities and strengthen provisions for PwD/PwBD candidates, and media reports indicate two daily shifts not specified in the official notice.
