- NTA released the provisional answer keys and candidates' response sheets on Sunday, August 16, and opened an online challenge window that closes on August 18 at 11:59 PM.
- The UGC‑NET release covers 84 subjects while English, Commerce and Sociology were excluded and placed under a separate committee probe with a public notice to follow.
- Candidates must pay a processing fee of ₹200 per challenged question and will receive a full refund if the subject experts uphold the objection.
