NTA Opens Short Correction Window for UGC NET June 2026 Applications

The brief window gives candidates a final chance to fix high-stakes exam details before exam-city slips and admit cards are issued.

Overview

  • The National Testing Agency activated the UGC NET correction window Tuesday, May 26, and it remains open until Thursday, May 28 at 11:50 pm.
  • Candidates must log in at ugcnet.nta.nic.in with their application number and password to view, edit, submit, and download a confirmation page for their revised application.
  • The NTA has said this is the only opportunity for edits and will not grant further extensions, urging applicants to complete corrections well before the deadline.
  • Editable fields include date of birth, gender, category, PwD status, subject, exam-city preferences, and candidate or parent names while mobile number, email, photo, signature, and address cannot be changed.
  • The agency will publish exam-city slips by June 10 and admit cards by June 15 ahead of computer-based UGC NET tests from June 22–30, which consist of two objective papers totaling three hours; candidates with issues can contact the NTA helpdesk at 011-40759000, 011-69227700 or ugcnet@nta.ac.in.
