Overview
- Applications must be filed at csirnet.nta.nic.in by October 24, with fee payment due October 25.
- An application correction window will be available from October 27 to 29, 2025, and NTA will issue city intimation slips and admit cards a few days before the test.
- The computer-based exam will run on December 18 in two shifts; media reports differ on Shift 1 start time (9:00 am vs 9:30 am), so candidates should confirm the official bulletin.
- The test duration is 180 minutes and it will be conducted in English and Hindi across Chemical, Earth/Atmospheric/Ocean/Planetary, Life, Mathematical, and Physical Sciences.
- Eligibility includes a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (final-year students permitted), an upper age limit of 30 for JRF, and fees of Rs 1,150 (General), Rs 600 (Gen-EWS/OBC), and Rs 325 (SC/ST/PwD).
