NTA Corrects JEE Main 2026 Bulletin to Ban Calculators as Registration Opens

The agency uploaded a corrected information bulletin to withdraw a mistaken reference to an onscreen calculator.

Overview

  • Online applications for Session 1 are open at jeemain.nta.nic.in until November 27, 2025, with fee payment due the same day by 11:50 pm.
  • Session 1 will be conducted from January 21 to 30, 2026, and Session 2 is scheduled for April 2 to 9, 2026, with city intimation in early January and admit cards available a few days before the exam.
  • NTA has expanded centre access to 323 cities and retained accessibility measures on the platform, with UDID integration for PwD/PwBD candidates in the application form.
  • Applicants must upload a recent photograph, signature, Class 10 certificate, and relevant category or disability documents, ensuring Aadhaar and other records match to avoid verification issues.
  • The exam pattern continues with Paper 1 and Paper 2 and a marking scheme of +4 for correct answers and −1 for incorrect MCQs, with Session 1 results expected by February 12, 2026.
