Overview
- NTA clarified that calculators in any form are prohibited for JEE Main 2026, noting the onscreen calculator is a generic platform feature not used for this exam.
 - A corrected Information Bulletin has been uploaded on nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in, and candidates have been advised to download the updated version.
 - Registration for Session 1 opened on October 31 and will close on November 27, with applications accepted through the official JEE Main portal.
 - Session 1 is scheduled for January 21–30, 2026, with exam city information expected in the first week of January and a second session planned for April.
 - The exam format and marking scheme remain as published, including Paper 1 with 75 questions for 300 marks, +4/−1 scoring, and extra time accommodations for PwD candidates.
