NSW Police Release CCTV of Concord Drive-By Shooting as Raptor Squad Leads Probe

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after releasing vision of the July attack on a Concord home.

Overview

  • CCTV shows a white GV80 Genesis SUV arrive on Davidson Avenue about 1am on July 3, with a masked gunman exiting and firing multiple rounds from what police describe as a high-powered rifle.
  • Shots smashed the second-floor balcony glass, and police say no one was home at the time and no injuries were reported.
  • The suspected getaway SUV was found burnt out on Stuart Street in Burwood shortly after, with Fire and Rescue NSW extinguishing the blaze.
  • Additional footage shows two men setting the SUV alight before fleeing in a Lancer toward Granville, and police are seeking dashcam and other information via Crime Stoppers.
  • The property is linked to convicted cocaine dealers Raymond and Joseph Frangieh, and ABC reports police sources had examined possible Hells Angels links.
