Overview
- Three men aged 18, 19 and 26 were arrested after two cars were stopped on River Road in Revesby following surveillance in Condell Park.
- All are charged with conspiracy to commit murder and participating in a criminal group, with the younger men also facing counts of possessing an unauthorised pistol, being carried in a conveyance without consent and breach of bail.
- Specialist units including the Tactical Operations Unit, PolAir, the Dog Squad and State Intelligence Command executed a high-risk stop, and police say officers used non-lethal rounds.
- Searches of the vehicles and linked premises seized two pistols at the scene and a third later, along with balaclavas, body-worn cameras, jerry cans of fuel and electronic devices.
- Investigators allege the intended victim is linked to organised crime in an internal syndicate dispute, and the trio were refused bail to appear in Bankstown Local Court today.
