  • Detectives on routine surveillance in Condell Park identified three men mobilising to offend and, with tactical units, stopped two vehicles on The River Road in Revesby at about 3:50pm Tuesday.
  • Searches of the cars allegedly found two firearms, balaclavas, body‑worn cameras and jerry cans of fuel, with a third firearm located later at linked vehicles and premises.
  • Men aged 18, 19 and 26 were arrested; all were charged with conspiracy to commit murder and participating in a criminal group, with the two younger men also facing unauthorised pistol and breach‑of‑bail charges.
  • The trio were refused bail and were due to appear in Bankstown Local Court on Wednesday following what police described as a high‑risk arrest captured in footage showing bullet‑damaged vehicles.
  • Assistant Commissioner Scott Cook said officers executed a calculated intervention to stop the alleged hit, adding the men came close to acting as police probe a transnational network linked to multiple murder conspiracies.
