Overview

  • Eight securities will exit the futures and options segment on August 29, 2025: Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., Adani Total Gas Ltd., CESC Ltd., Granules India Ltd., IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd., Jindal Stainless Ltd., Poonawalla Fincorp Ltd., and SJVN Ltd.
  • Existing unexpired F&O contracts for June, July and August expiry months will remain tradable until their scheduled expiries, with new strike prices added to those series.
  • The exclusion is part of the NSE’s routine review under SEBI’s liquidity and trading threshold guidelines to manage risk and improve market efficiency.
  • This follows prior removals in May and March 2025 as the exchange continues to recalibrate the composition of its derivatives offerings.
  • After August 29, investors seeking to trade these stocks will be limited to cash market transactions with no fresh derivatives positions permitted.
