NSE Funds New Tata Memorial Cancer Block With 60-Bed BMT Unit After Groundbreaking

The project will expand subsidized transplants, integrating comorbidity care at ACTREC by July 2027.

Overview

  • NSE will spend Rs 380 crore through its NSE Foundation CSR arm to build an 11-storey multispeciality block at TMC-run ACTREC in Navi Mumbai.
  • L&T will construct the 2.4 lakh sq ft facility under an EPC contract, with operations targeted for July 2027.
  • The block will house a 60-bed Bone Marrow Transplant centre, which officials said would be among the largest in India and South Asia.
  • Capacity projections include roughly 1.3 lakh OPD visits each year and more than 600 BMT procedures annually.
  • A Bhoomi Pujan and groundbreaking were held on October 5, 2025, after NSE’s board cleared the project in March 2023.
