Overview
- Live trading will follow the regular weekday schedule with an eight-minute pre-open at 9:00 am and normal hours from 9:15 am to 3:30 pm.
- Equity, futures and options, and commodity derivatives will be available across both exchanges.
- T+0 settlement and the auction session for settlement defaults will not be conducted on that day.
- The Union Budget will be presented at 11:00 am on February 1, marking the first time the Budget is tabled on a Sunday.
- Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to present her ninth consecutive Budget, continuing the February 1 format introduced in 2017.
