• The NRC approved the transfer of operating authority for Palisades and its spent fuel storage facility from Holtec Decommissioning International to Palisades Energy.
• The plant is now authorized to receive new nuclear fuel and transition licensed reactor operators back to on-shift status under its original operating license.
• Regulators reinstated key pre-shutdown programs and documents after finding Holtec’s restart plan posed no significant environmental impact in May.
