  • Bahia’s health department scheduled a Nov. 8 mutirão in Salvador with 1,000 urology consultations and 1,000 PSA tests at Hospital Geral Roberto Santos, plus 100 consultations and 180 PSA slots at Cican with online registration starting Nov. 3.
  • Eligibility in Salvador includes cis men, trans women and non-binary people from age 40, with abnormal results routed for further investigation within the state system.
  • Organizers advise PSA preparation rules such as short fasting, sexual abstinence up to 48 hours and avoiding cycling or motorbike riding before blood collection.
