Overview
- The full phase occurs in the predawn hours of Nov. 5, so in many places the Moon will be below the horizon at peak and is better viewed on the evenings of Nov. 4 or Nov. 5.
 - Known as the Beaver or Castor Moon, this is 2025’s closest full Moon to Earth and qualifies as a Supermoon.
 - At perigee the Moon will be about 356,980 kilometers from Earth.
 - Its apparent size will be roughly 7–8% larger and its brightness about 15–16% greater than a typical full Moon.
 - No special equipment is required; a clear view to the eastern horizon after sunset is ideal, with Mexico City listed at full at 7:19 a.m. Nov. 5 and moonrise around 6:08 p.m.
