Overview
- Around 100 firefighters responded to the Oxford Gardens incident, deploying 15 engines after a 2:52am 999 call.
- The fire was contained shortly after 6am, according to the London Fire Brigade.
- A detached house converted into flats suffered severe damage to the first floor, roof, half of the second floor and a mezzanine.
- A 32‑metre turntable ladder was used as a water tower to attack the flames from above, officials said.
