Overview

• Since its December 2024 reopening, Notre-Dame has welcomed 6.02 million visitors through June 30.
• The cathedral now leads all French landmarks with an average of 35,000 daily guests.
• Notre-Dame could approach 12 million visits in 2025 if current attendance holds, outstripping the Louvre, Versailles and the Eiffel Tower.
• One of the 16 spire statues was reinstalled in June and tower tours are scheduled to restart on September 20.
• Global donations of €846 million have funded the bulk of the five-year restoration but a €140 million shortfall remains to finish the work.
