The man used tailgating techniques to bypass automated boarding pass checks at Munich Airport.
On the first attempt, he was caught when the fully booked flight to Hamburg had no available seats.
Despite being handed over to police, he returned the next day and successfully flew to Stockholm.
He was apprehended in Stockholm after attempting to return to Munich immediately upon arrival.
Munich Airport and Lufthansa are conducting investigations to prevent future security breaches.
