Overview
- Norwegian has scheduled a direct Copenhagen–Santiago service to start on 19 June 2027 with two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- Tickets are already on sale with introductory one-way fares advertised from about €39 and published flight times showing morning and evening rotations.
- The new route is presented as part of efforts to rebuild traffic at Santiago de Compostela after Ryanair closed its base and passenger numbers fell.
- Norwegian’s Denmark manager, Sara Neergaard, said the routes respond to strong Danish demand for Spain and will expand holiday options and Nordic–Spanish links.
- The Copenhagen link sits alongside a planned Copenhagen–Seville service from 24 March 2027 and could open a new entry point for Danish visitors to Galicia during the Año Xacobeo.
