Norton Returns at EICMA 2025 With Manx R Superbike and Atlas Adventure Twins

Backed by more than £200 million from TVS, Norton sets a UKIndia production split with retail to begin in 2026.

Overview

  • Norton unveiled four new models — Manx R, Manx, Atlas and Atlas GT — marking its first full next-generation lineup under TVS ownership.
  • The Manx R debuts a new 1,200cc V4 rated at about 206 bhp and 130 Nm with a kerb weight near 204 kg, plus Bosch-based rider aids, semi‑active Marzocchi suspension and Brembo HYPURE brakes via an 8‑inch TFT interface.
  • Production will be split with Manx and Manx R built at Norton’s Solihull facility in the UK, with some engine components sourced from India, while Atlas and Atlas GT will be manufactured in India.
  • TVS says Solihull’s upgraded plant can produce roughly 8,000 motorcycles annually, and a global dealer network exceeding 200 touchpoints is planned across the UK, Europe, the U.S. and India.
  • The Atlas platform is a 585cc parallel-twin middleweight (around 70 bhp expected) offered in adventure-focused Atlas (19/17-inch wheels, ~180 mm travel) and road‑oriented Atlas GT (17-inch wheels, ~140 mm travel) variants.
