- The commission moved the August 1979 Narrow Water atrocity into its information recovery stage, tackling the deadliest single-day loss suffered by the British Army during the Troubles.

- Since its launch in May 2024 under the controversial Legacy Act, the ICRIR has registered 85 inquiries and advanced eight into formal investigation.
