• District magistrates in Meerut and Muzaffarnagar have ordered all schools and colleges to remain closed from July 16 until the pilgrimage concludes on July 23.
• Coordinated holiday schedules extend across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana with Bareilly, Haridwar and Ujjain enforcing Monday-only closures during Shravan.
• Delhi-NCR authorities have deployed over 5,000 police and paramilitary personnel alongside CCTV surveillance and drone patrols to oversee pilgrim movement.
• Traffic advisories, partial road closures and one-way diversions have been imposed on major corridors including Kalindi Kunj, Noida and the Agra Canal Road.
• Officials have threatened strict penalties for any institutions that defy closure orders and normal academic schedules will resume after July 23.
