North Dakota state senator Doug Larsen, wife and two children killed in Utah plane crash

A small plane crashed shortly after takeoff near Moab, Utah, killing all on board.
The victims were identified as North Dakota state senator Doug Larsen, his wife, and their two young children.
Larsen was a Republican state senator and lieutenant colonel in the North Dakota National Guard.
The crash is under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.
Larsen and his family were visiting relatives in Arizona before stopping to refuel in Utah.
