North Crowley Prepares for Historic Texas 6A State Championship Game

North Crowley High School (15-0) will compete against Austin Westlake (14-1) in the Class 6A Division I state championship on December 21 at AT&T Stadium.
This marks North Crowley’s first football state championship appearance since their Cinderella run to the 4A title in 2003 and Fort Worth's first 6A title game since 1948.
The Panthers secured their spot with a dramatic 36-34 semifinal win over defending champion Duncanville, avenging last year’s playoff loss.
Led by head coach Ray Gates, the Panthers boast a balanced offense averaging 54.3 points per game, with standout performances from quarterback Chris Jimerson Jr. and receiver Quentin Gibson.
