Norfolk Police Under Investigation After Family of Four Found Dead

Officers failed to respond to a 999 call from the property an hour before the bodies were discovered.

Four members of the same family, including two young girls, were found dead in a house in Costessey, near Norwich.
Norfolk Police received a 999 call from the property an hour before the bodies were discovered but did not respond.
The man found dead has been named as Bartlomiej Kuczynski, 45. The identities of the two girls and the 36-year-old woman have not yet been formally confirmed.
Norfolk Police have referred themselves to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) over their handling of the 999 call and a previous missing person inquiry at the same address.
Detectives are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths and believe it to be an isolated incident.
