Overview

• Holders of a residential electricity contract who do not own a TV must file the quadro A substitute declaration with the Agenzia delle Entrate by June 30, 2025.
• The declaration can be submitted via the agency’s web portal, authorised intermediaries, certified email with digital signature or registered mail without an envelope.
• When another family member’s bill already includes the Canone Rai, the contract holder must complete quadro B to declare the payer’s tax code and date of family grouping.
• Any change in TV ownership status during the year requires a quadro C update to restore billing from the month the conditions change.
• Exemption declarations for the 2026 fee period open on July 1, 2025, and must be renewed annually while the no-TV condition persists.
