Nokia Secures Major Deal to Enhance Airtel's 4G and 5G Networks

Bharti Airtel has signed a multi-billion-dollar extension deal with Nokia to deploy 4G and 5G equipment across major Indian cities and states.
The agreement includes the deployment of Nokia's 5G AirScale equipment, enhancing Airtel's network capacity and coverage.
Nokia's energy-efficient ReefShark technology will be used to power the new equipment, supporting Airtel's Green 5G Initiative to reduce carbon emissions.
Airtel's existing 4G network will be modernized with multiband radios and baseband equipment capable of supporting 5G.
The collaboration, which has spanned over two decades, will also introduce Nokia's AI-based MantaRay Network Management for improved network monitoring and management.
