Noida Police File FIR After Debris Injures 12-Year-Old at Amrapali Platinum

  • On August 16, a stone from the 25th floor of Tower A at Amrapali Platinum struck the girl as she walked to tuition, leaving her with head injuries that required 10 stitches and stabilizing treatment at Motherland and Fortis hospitals.
  • Noida Police registered an FIR under Section 125(b) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against eight people, including NBCC project officials and two RWA office bearers, for alleged acts endangering life.
  • The victim’s father alleged negligence by NBCC, its contractor and the apartment association for failing to install guardrails or cordon off the repair area.
  • RWA president Abhishek Vashishth says the association did not award or inspect the repair contract handed to NBCC by Supreme Court order.
