Overview
- The Noida Authority opened the six-lane stretch on Tuesday for trial operations on the DSC Marg corridor.
- The project spans 4.5 km and cost Rs 608.08 crore, targeting chronic congestion on one of Noida’s busiest routes.
- The road runs from Vikas Marg in Sector 51 to the NSEZ, crossing crowded market areas and linking Sadarpur, Chhalera, Agahpur, Barola, Salarpur and Bhangel.
- Officials project shorter commutes and relief for ground-level traffic, estimating benefits for about 200,000 people and improved access to nearby industrial and residential sectors.
- Launched in 2020 after earlier delays, the work accelerated under CEO Dr Lokesh M’s inspections following a postponed 2022 inauguration.
