• Surajkund police arrested Mangal Kumar on May 28 in a separate kidnapping case, and he confessed to abducting 7-year-old Himanshu from a Noida temple bhandara in 2015.
• Central Noida officers spent six hours reviewing records to link the 17-year-old to FIR No. 723/2015 and traced his family, now living in Agra, via an old mobile number.
• On June 10, Himanshu’s identity was confirmed through a healed cut on his right finger and a mark under his left eye during a tearful reunion with his parents.
