Noida Authority Begins Public 'Dues' Boards at Housing Projects

Residents plan to seek NCLT relief, citing CIRP protections.

Overview

  • The campaign started at Lotus Panache in Sector 110 and Supertech Eco City in Sector 137, where boards now display outstanding land dues.
  • Officials say more group housing sites, including projects under NCLT proceedings, will get boards, with lists and photographs to be posted on the Authority’s website.
  • Noida Authority CEO Dr. Lokesh M describes the effort as an information drive rather than punitive action and says nearly ₹25,000 crore is owed across projects.
  • Residents and the appointed resolution professional contend the move violates insolvency moratorium rules under CIRP and plan to issue notices before approaching the NCLT.
  • Lotus Panache has been under CIRP since 2019 and reportedly owes about ₹1,200 crore, while the Authority reiterates it may use plot cancellations, sealing of unsold inventory, and land revenue recovery to enforce dues.
