Overview

• A man called 911 around 2:10–2:15 p.m. reporting his wife in a pool of blood and a stranger inside their home on the 400 block of East Division Street.
• Responding officers saw a suspect jump from a second-story window and flee, triggering a brief foot pursuit.
• Police identified the suspect as Noel Trevino, 30, who was taken into custody near 500 East First Street after attempting to run again and being subdued with a K9 and less-lethal tools.
• The woman was found in the kitchen with multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities have not released her name.
