- The 2025 announcements run Oct. 6–13: medicine (Oct. 6), physics (Oct. 7), chemistry (Oct. 8), literature (Oct. 9), peace (Oct. 10) and Economic Sciences (Oct. 13).
- The Peace Prize is awarded in Oslo by the Norwegian Nobel Committee, while the other prizes are presented in Stockholm by Swedish institutions including the Karolinska Institute, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciencesnd the SwSwedish Academy.
- Only select nominators such as certain officials, professors, past laureates and peace research directors can submit names, and self-nomination is prohibited.
- Reporting notes 338 nominations for the 2025 Peace Prize and repeated nominations of U.S. President Donald Trump, though the committees do not disclose nominees and keep records sealed for 50 years.
- Each prize includes 11 million Swedish kronor, an 18-carat gold medal and a diploma, with awards presented on Dec. 10; up to three laureates may share a prize.
