No Rest for the Wicked Leaves Early Access, Will Launch 1.0 on PC and PS5 in October

This consolidates two years of community-driven Early Access work into a single expansion with persistent cross-play and co-save plus a limited Founder’s Pack for early buyers.

Overview

  • Moon Studios announced during Tuesday’s PlayStation State of Play that No Rest for the Wicked will exit Early Access and release as version 1.0 for PC and PlayStation 5 in October 2026 with some outlets naming October 27 as the day.
  • The 1.0 build packages more than 60 hours of new content, adds 15-plus hand-crafted regions, a reimagined class and progression system, a new horde mode, new bosses and weapons, and expanded endgame activities.
  • The update introduces persistent private realms so co-op players keep shared world progress when the host is offline, and it will support full cross-play and cross-save between PC and PS5 at launch.
  • Moon Studios is offering a free limited Early Access Founder’s Pack to PC purchasers before July 10, 2026 and to PS5 pre-order customers; the pack includes a founder home (Spirit Cavern), the Sayer’s Vow sword, a founder tag, and access to a public beta realm.
  • The game first entered Early Access in April 2024, has sold about 1.8 million units during that period, and Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 versions remain in development with release dates to be announced later.
