No Charges for New Mexico Officers in Fatal Shooting at Wrong Address

Dotson's wife, Kimberly, fired at the officers after they shot her husband, but stopped once she realized they were police officers. She was not harmed.
The officers had mistakenly gone to 5305 Valley View Avenue, instead of 5308 Valley View Avenue.
The Dotson family has filed a lawsuit against the city of Farmington and the three officers involved, alleging excessive and unnecessary force.
