Creighton's Ryan Kalkbrenner and Trey Alexander led the team to a decisive 89-60 victory over North Dakota State, with Kalkbrenner scoring 13 points and Alexander contributing 21 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and five steals.
Kalkbrenner, who was largely invisible in the first half, scored 11 of his 13 points during a decisive 16-0 run in the first four minutes of the second half, helping Creighton establish a 57-31 lead.
Baylor Scheierman added 17 points for Creighton, which shot 60% from the field and made 12 of 28 3-pointers, while committing just four fouls.
North Dakota State's Damari Wheeler-Thomas scored 15 points, but the team fell to 0-12 all-time against Creighton.
