  • Miami capped the regular season at 10-2 (6-2 ACC), delivering back-to-back double-digit win seasons for the first time since 2003.
  • True freshman Malachi Toney logged 13 receptions for 126 yards and a touchdown, added five rushes for 30 yards, and threw a 9-yard scoring pass to Elija Lofton.
  • Toney ended the regular season with 970 receiving yards, surpassing Ahmmon Richards’ 2016 Miami freshman mark of 934 and sitting 30 shy of 1,000 entering postseason play.
  • Quarterback Carson Beck completed 23 of 29 passes for 267 yards with three touchdowns and one interception, and Girard Pringle Jr. paced the rushing attack with 82 yards.
  • Miami’s defense held Pitt to seven points and roughly 229 total yards, limited the Panthers to 30 rushing yards, produced four sacks, and closed the game with Bryce Fitzgerald’s interception.
