Overview
- Texas, which plays UTSA on Saturday, Sept. 19, kicks off at 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. CT) at Darrell K. Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin.
- The game will not air on a traditional TV channel and is available exclusively on SEC Network+ via the ESPN app with provider authentication or ESPN subscription access.
- Clay Matvick will handle play-by-play, Rocky Boiman will serve as analyst and Austyn Iven will report from the sideline for the SEC Network+ broadcast.
- Texas enters the game riding last week’s comeback over then-No. 1 Ohio State and is a heavy betting favorite with sportsbooks showing roughly a 30-point spread and a steep moneyline.
- UTSA arrives 2-0 with quarterback Owen McCown posting 489 passing yards and four touchdowns through two games, and the matchup continues a short series history in which Texas has won the prior meetings.
