Overview

  • Three masked, gloved men intercepted the businessman at his Caissargues workplace, forced him into his Porsche, and drove him to his Nîmes home.
  • The victim was beaten and suffered facial injuries, and a 19-year-old son alerted police during the ordeal while another son was threatened.
  • Around ten luxury watches and high-end jewelry, including brands such as Rolex, Richard Mille, Patek Philippe, Cartier, Tiffany & Co, and Van Cleef, were stolen for losses estimated above €1 million.
  • The assailants fled in the victim’s Porsche Taycan Turbo, which was later found burned near Nîmes, and investigators are reviewing home surveillance footage.
