Overview
- Bus, light rail, and Access Link service will be suspended starting at 4 a.m. Sunday, with no passenger operations for the remainder of the service day.
- Rail will run on a regular weekend schedule until 2 p.m. Sunday, and riders must be on trains that reach their final destinations by that time before service shuts down.
- Systemwide cross-honoring is in effect Sunday and Monday, though riders traveling to a different destination than printed on their ticket may owe an additional fare.
- NJ Transit’s Emergency Operations Center will remain open during the storm as key personnel are pre-positioned and winterized equipment, switch heaters, and snow-fighting resources are deployed.
- Customers may still see trains or light rail vehicles moving to clear tracks and overhead wires without carrying passengers, and officials urge residents to avoid unnecessary travel and monitor NJ Transit channels for Monday updates.
