- Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the Kacchi Dargah-Bidupur six-lane Ganga Bridge on June 23, 2025, connecting Kacchi Dargah in Patna with Bidupur in Vaishali district.
- The greenfield link spans 19.76km with extra-dosed cable-stayed spans and cost Rs 4,988 crore to build.
- Built by the Bihar State Road Development Corporation Limited, the bridge took nearly nine years to complete after construction began in 2016.
- It offers an uninterrupted route from Patna to the flood-prone Raghopur Diara region, maintaining connectivity through the monsoon season.
