Overview
- During his Samriddhi Yatra on January 19, the chief minister opened an elevated RCC bridge and approach road at Chandauli Ghat on the Belsand–Minapur route, built for ₹70.89 crore.
- The Chief Minister’s Office said he inaugurated and laid foundation stones for schemes totaling over ₹680 crore—₹554.12 crore in Sitamarhi and ₹59 crore in Sheohar—though one outlet reported a ₹613 crore tally.
- In Sitamarhi, 26 projects worth ₹208.12 crore were inaugurated and 41 schemes worth ₹346 crore saw foundation stones laid, with the new bridge intended to maintain access for about 30 panchayats during floods.
